Trishnalei is an award winning ukulele player and vocalist who currently resides in Honolulu, Hawaii. Growing up in a musically inclined family, playing & writing music came naturally. Throughout her life, music has been a source of healing, as well as a way to express her innermost thoughts and passions. Trishnalei feels that music is the tie that binds, and thoroughly enjoys sharing her passion with all types of audiences, in all types of settings.

 

In the past, She has shared the stage with some of Hawaii’s most talented entertainers, to include Kapena, Ekolu, Paula Fuga, Ten Feet, Irie Love, Kimie, Eli-Mac, Chardonnay, High Watah Music and many many more.

 

She has competed in three competitions focused on music in Hawaii. She reached local masse during KITV4 News’ “Island Idol” competition, placing Runner Up (2018). She also Competed in, and won Restaurant 604’s “604 minutes to fame”(2018) and Duke’s Restaurant’s annual Ukulele Contest (2015) receiving the MELE award for perpetuating Hawaiian Culture.

 

Recently, Trishnalei has found success working with producer Kapena De lima at Bu Print Studio releasing an Ep "Ikeepontroddin" that was nominated for a Na Hoku hanohano award and became a finalist in 2022. In the last year, she released a few more singles that hit the Hawaii & Guam reggae charts to include "Shining Diamond", "Irie" and "Mr. Mr." Shining Diamond was voted by the community and featured on Mana Upʻs Artists to watch as a favorite tune, which earned her the opportunity to perform with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra held at the Waikiki Shell. Irie did so well on KCCN FM100 that she also got to open for their annual Birthday Bash Concert as well. Trishnaleiʻs newest single "Lavender" is now available on all digital platforms and currently hit hawaiiʻs tops stations on the top 5 at 5!

 

Trishnalei hopes to bring healing to the universe through her interpretation of reggae, pop and r&b music  splashed with a tropical island flare.  Just like in her name itself, Nalei is a garland of flowers or fern bound together with the intention of love and healing.
